Here are some of the ways we ensure our product is of the highest quality.
Sourcing raw materials from reputable suppliers
It’s impossible to produce high-quality products if the raw materials being used are sub-standard, which is why we only source our polymers from established, highly-recommended local suppliers.
While the cost of using premium materials might be higher than choosing a cheaper option, using high-quality raw materials in our manufacturing process helps ensure the end-product meets your expectations.
Maintaining line cleanliness
A clean production line means less contamination, making sure dust and other debris doesn’t compromise the end-product.
While routine cleaning can be time-consuming and expensive, prioritising the cleanliness of our machinery helps guarantee a consistent quality and a quicker turnaround so you always receive your orders on time.
Routine line maintenance
Well-maintained equipment can mean less waste and fewer defects, which is why carrying out regular maintenance is so important to our day-to-day operations.
Regular inspections help us identify minor issues before they escalate into major problems, which helps ensure we don’t experience any significant drops in quality or productivity.
Initial checks
The start of any production run is often the busiest time of the entire process, with multiple checks being performed to make sure the machinery is running smoothly and all materials meet specifications.
Tests to measure colour, thickness, and elasticity of the plastic film are carried out when each production run starts, and after every roll is removed from the line. Once our planter bags are formed, more tests are performed – inc. fold strength, blocking (making sure heat during the manufacturing process doesn’t hinder a bag from opening or fuse the sides together), weld strength, and hole placements – to make sure they meet your requirements.
Ongoing checks
It’s not only during the initial setup of a production run that we check to make sure the product meets our high standards. Throughout the entire process, the same tests from above are carried out at regular intervals to ensure nothing goes wrong.
Packing
We understand that after waiting for your products to arrive, there’s nothing worse than discovering you’ve been sent the wrong product.
That’s why, before packing your order, we double-check the quantity and material specifications to make sure everything is correct. This helps ensure you always receive the high-quality product you’ve come to expect from us.
